Health Management Network

A wholly owned subsidiary and managed by HMA, INC., Health Management Network, Inc. (HMN) was formed in 1992 and is a large, national PPO with a 50 state presence and a particularly strong network in the West, Southwest and Hawaii. In total, HMN serves over two million covered lives through 750,000 contracted providers.

Arizona Medical Network

Managed by HMA, INC., Arizona Medical Network (AMN) is the most comprehensive provider network in Arizona covering Maricopa and Pima counties. Established in 1983, AMN and its affiliate network, the Rural Arizona network (RAN), serve 450,000 plan members through 9,000 Arizona contracted providers.

Rural Arizona Network

Fifty percent owned and managed by HMA, INC., Rural Arizona Network (RAN) created in 1987, is an Arizona provider network that covers all counties in Arizona except Maricopa and Pima counties. It is considered the premier network in rural Arizona. Taken with its affiliate network, the Arizona Medical Network (AMN), RAN serves 450,000 plan members through 9,000 Arizona contracted providers.

RAN+AMN EPO

This Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) is managed by HMA, INC. and is composed of certain providers contracted with the Arizona Medical Network PPO and Rural Arizona Network PPO. Established in 2003, the provider leadership of this EPO believe that cost containment can be achieved without compromising quality or without limiting access to providers. RAN+AMN EPO includes providers from Arizona and neighboring states.

NEAZ Health Services

NEAZ Health Services (NEAZ) was developed in response to Arizona’s unique challenges facing local physicians and providers. NEAZ operates as an independent practice association (IPA). Services provided to its contracted providers include practice management and advisory services, operational assistance, affordable health insurance for physicians and their staff, representation/negotiation with payers and consultation when dealing with unique government-sponsored programs. Health plans need only contract with NEAZ Health Services to access a comprehensive rural provider network.

Health Care Consortium of Arizona

Managed by HMA, INC. and established in 1983, Health Care Consortium of Arizona (HCA) is a state-wide physician owned individual practice association (IPA) representing some 1,500 contracted physicians. HCA was initially conceived as the physician component of the Arizona Medical Network (AMN) PPO and remains today as the largest physician group contracted with AMN. In fact, HCA represents physician interests on the Board of Directors of AMN and is responsible for credentialing all AMN providers in Maricopa (Phoenix) and Pima (Tucson) Counties. HCA provides its physician membership with practice management and advisory services.
